Cooling support that keeps trading day after day
When a cold room is down or a chiller starts pulling too much power, every hour counts. Nvirocool works with sites that need practical refrigeration support, not guesswork. We handle planned maintenance, emergency breakdowns, cold room repairs, chiller servicing and the kind of retrofit work that trims electricity use without upsetting product temperatures.
Our team also carries out low-GWP gas conversions for systems that need a cleaner refrigerant path, together with leak detection, coil cleaning, control upgrades and temperature monitoring. That mix matters in the Eastern Cape where a plant room can face summer heat, coastal humidity in places like Gqeberha and Port Alfred, and load-shedding that puts extra strain on compressors and controls.
- Planned maintenance for cold rooms, chillers and related plant
- Emergency breakdown response when stock is at risk
- Low-GWP conversions and retrofit support for older systems
- Energy audits to identify where power is being wasted
Who we work with across the Eastern Cape
We support businesses that rely on stable temperatures every day. That includes food storage facilities, retailers with back-of-house cold rooms, hospitality kitchens, butchery and deli operations, farms with cooling requirements, and industrial sites that need dependable chilled water or process cooling. If temperature drift could damage stock, production or compliance, we are usually the people called in.
Our work is based in Newton Park, Gqeberha, and we travel through the metro and further afield. Clients in Uitenhage, Despatch, Jeffreys Bay, Graaff-Reinet and Port Alfred call on us for scheduled servicing or urgent faults, and we also help sites that need a second opinion before replacing equipment altogether. In many cases a proper service, a control adjustment or a targeted retrofit can add useful life and cut running costs.
- Food storage and distribution sites
- Hospitality, kitchens and catering operations
- Retail outlets with display and back-room cooling
- Farms, packhouses and light industrial plants
How we work on site and off site
Clients usually come to us with one of three needs: the plant has failed, the electricity bill has climbed, or the current system no longer suits the way the business runs. We start by finding the actual fault or pressure point, then we recommend the shortest sensible route back to reliable cooling. That may be a repair, a maintenance plan, a gas changeover, sensor replacement or a full control upgrade.
Our service co-ordination is handled by Ayabulela Ndlovu, with support from Leanne Petersen in accounts and Yolanda Jacobs in client care. Siyabonga Mthembu leads senior refrigeration work on site, Ruan Smit manages retrofit projects, and Nokulunga Dlamini carries out energy audits that show where savings can be made without risking product quality. Anele Mbeki-Jacobs heads the business and keeps the work practical, tidy and accountable.
We are careful about access, water use and after-hours work where a site needs to keep trading. If a municipal rule, landlord requirement or food safety process affects the job, we plan around it instead of causing another delay. That means fewer repeat visits and less disruption for the people on the floor.
